william hill bookmakers

on entering one of their shops today I was presented with a letter banning me from all their shops due to suspicious activity caught on cctv and I would not receive the £325 pounds due on a bet placed on Saturday night I sat outside the shop waiting on the area manager 3 hours later I got hold of him he told me the real reason was I bet to many winners imagine that suspicious activity is placing a bet in a betting shop and having the cheek to bet a winner

South African equivalent is WSB
If you want trust, trust others. If you want respect, respect others. If you want love and peace in your life, give them away. If you want great friends, be one

Surely this is illegal? Firstly documenting something that basically discriminates against you unfairly and secondly not paying a winning bet? Does the UK not have some type of betting board/ombudsman to resolve these problems? 325 POUND =6000 ZAR give or take.

Being banned from a bookmaker's shops or having your online account closed is the highest possible compliment a bookmaker can pay you. It's their admission that you're smarter than their so-called 'traders' (i.e. Betfair watchers).

Doesn't that sum up uk bookies for what they are..permission to lay a bottle at evens. They are useless. All of them, even those clowns that guarantee to lose £500.They don't price up early, they wait until all the value has gone and then price up.
I gave my pal that 40/1 winner at the beach,he had £25 ew.Next bet,he wanted a £5 ew lucky15,total stake £150.They declined and offered him £0-75 ew,total stake £22-50.
He's had the account 2 days,scandalous.

Have you tried Betstars.uk Dave? They haven't had a sportsbook for long (they started life as a poker site), but my experience of them so far for betting on UK and Irish racing has been pretty positive. I find their odds are slightly above average overall and they'll lay any UK or Irish runner for over a grand (more than that on a Saturday). They can normally verify your account automatically, so no need to mess about sending them ID and so far I've had my withdrawal requests processed promptly and without any quibbles.
