Imo
I see bad rides every day all over the world. Some I even had bet on but I don't comment. This is a syndicate horse belonging to many people. It's a business and I own a large portion of it so I will voice my opinion and utter disappointment in the matter

Jocks just like the authorities think punters are the bottom of the racing food chain and they only humour the owners cause they pay the training fees imvho

I must be honest this whole saga is a storm in a tea cup and I commend Ryan Munger for his explanation. It's plain and simple, how did the prinsloo horses run today ??? How many runners ??? How many cheques???? Answer the questions and its self explanatory . Don't blame the jock , ask the trainer what went wrong , or was leboana the only horse supposed to run well today ?? What a laugh !

I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong, but IMO not many horses who go to gauteng or kzn from kimberly , regardless of there run in these provinces come back and run a cracker? Maybe it's the travel? These horses don't normally leave Kimberly so maybe they are not used to the up an sdown?

This post is an absolute joke and disgrace! For those of you long enough in the game surely by now you should know that form in Kimberely means absolutely bugger all!! I have seen horses win by 15 lengths and the following week they run 35 lengths last! This is a bullshit post and a disgrace that a owner posts this shit on THIS forum! Contact the NHA if you are not happy but this is a disgrace that you rant and rave like this because you are not happy with your horses's run and obviously someone did their thom!! Bloody pathetic and unprofessional to say the least!!!

Bob, don't think you need worry bud, if anything this thread shows that the vast majority of posters on ABC are not "poisonous", they simply say what they honestly think.
I am not going to totally beat Easy up here, the truth is I actually find it somewhat refreshing to see an owner for once showing some passion etc about a ride he felt was all wrong. Ok, he is having to eat a slice of humble pie now and, imo, definitely deservedly so. I have kinda said it to him before and I'll say it again now, take a deep breath and think before you write sometimes! Passion is one thing, "misplaced" passion is a very dangerous/wrong thing.
Big tip of the hat in Ryan's direction for the post and for obviously being "reasonable" rather than "reactionary" in the telephone conversation they held (as mentioned in the Ryan 2 thread).
The thread though does highlight a couple of things which I feel must be highlighted and resolved...
1. What is going on when a vet says a horse is not striding out but the trainer and jock say they doubt this? Surely the vet is competent enough to get this right?
2. This scenario to me stresses the absolute requirement that trainers advise punters as to when horses have had the sickness jabs. It is clearly evident from what I have read that Mr Prinsloo thought the horse's performance may have been affected by this but punters were not privy to this information. Why the fark not? It is absolutely ridiculous that any horse, let alone a hot odds-on favourite, can run with the trainer thinking it may run below par for a specific reason but this information is not passed on to the general public. The authorities have to make it a requirement that punters are advised in the future.

Let me guess.....this horse was on a 4 timer??? I must have been the villain cos I can dig out my bets from HB and show all....I brassed him. For the aforementioned....and also because I thought he had been at it too long without a break.
Easy, very poor post buds !!
