Race 2 - going to have a bet on Scandola here. Highly thought of by the yard and was strongly supported on debut. Will definitely come on and will have improved a bundle from that run, 1200m will be right up her alley at this stage and she should go close with natural improvement. Nothing too scary in the field too. 15/10 avaliable.

Neala in the 7th. Looks to be a progressive sort, bumping the right kind of field and jumps from gate 1. The jockey booking is interesting in that Domeyer does have rides for the Bass stable on the day, and who have Miss Marker in the race, yet Domeyer has opted to take the ride on Neala. Jockey Wright, who has ridden Neala on several ocassions, including her last start, is on Amarillo Rose. Third run after the rest, i make Neala the one they all have to beat.

Another horse I think can go close on the day, purely because of the weight, is Silver Snaffles (6/1) in the 5th. The betting appears disproportionate in relation to Cavallino (22/10 joint favourite) when you consider that Silver Snaffles is 3.0kgs better off than Cavallino for a 1.50 length beating last time they met. Admittedly Silver Snaffles is taking on stronger, however at the price must be worth an each way go.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Race 1: Of the raced runners, Risky Rambo is the one to beat on his good debut, with Cape Horn and Secret Idea not far behind. We have Elusive Singer running- he was a couple of lengths behind on debut, having been bumped at the start, and making up ground late. He has come on from that run and could be good enough to win today.
Race 2: Scandola stands out after her good debut, and is the deserved favourite. Red Light Girl has run 2 good races and should again be in the money.
We have Dark Goddess running here- the siblings are all best over ground, but we were happy with her debut, and she has come on nicely from that run. Expecting a good run from her- should be in the money.
Lady of the House is well bred.
Race 3: Runaway Rebel takes on the older fillies , but looks good enough to win here. Diva Fever is the main danger. Quite a few first timers to worry about.

Race 4: Nothing stands out here. Charisma may be the one in an open race.
Race 5:Ready to Attack seems to be regaining form and is the one to beat. Silver Snaffles and Blackmore the main dangers.
Races 6-8. All very tough handicaps, go wide.
Race 8: We have Entre Nous running. Poor draw, and probably needed her last run a bit more than we thought. Should run better today if getting a bit of luck from the draw. Would be very happy if she can land a cheque.

Red Light Girl way too good, Scandola pulled way clear of the 3rd the last 200m so maybe a horse to follow
