I know this is quite random, but something I just picked up on when looking at the card for this weekend... It really is no secret that the J's are not scared to splash the cash when it comes to ponies.

My question is- Who is the best earning horse they have owned? In terms of capital outlay vs capital income. I ask this as surely Rabada must be right up there. Should he win this weekend, it will take his winnings to 3million. He was purchased for 300k. At 10x more, and knowing the money they generally throw at sales, 10x must be huge (for any owner really).

Would be interesting if a tech savvy person could find some stats. This techno retard doesnt even know where to start looking.lol. :lol:

Not Jooste's horse but Lizards Desire should be high on the list of money earners in South Africa. Ran 2nd in the Dubai World Cup and won the Singapore Airlines Cup.

The owner made a deal to buy the broodmare of Lizards Desire, Annsfield, after using it on a hunting trip but never end up paying for it as the original owner could never be found after that.
