Well said Bob
I get told all the time why people won't post and it really is a pity.

I think the forum is generally positive about positive stuff!
Why does racing expect positive response to piss poor service as long they say they sorry?

As Magi says....walk the walk and they will get a very positive response!

I think it's hard to generalise Rob but when we do get replies or a response it possibly could be met with a more diplomatic approach to make it easier to have more open or direct communication in the future.
I do appreciate when people like Rob Scott, Craig Eudey make the effort.

I cannot agree whatsoever that posters should be prepared to compromise at any level when it comes to service.

Racing used to be a 'club system',but it a business now,run by a listed company who pays shareholders, not customers dividends.

Nobody at Tellytrack,Phumelela or Gold Circle does this for free.

Most are payed salaries that would be way beyond their station in the 'real world'.That is before things like share options. In fact many are of a demographic where they would have lost their jobs due to BEE.

So why should we,many of whom have posted on this site for as many as 10 years (under diffrent pseudonyms at different times of course :silly: ),have to be prepared to suck the hind tit at all.

We,the punters, ultimately pay everyone in racings salaries.

There have been many, many constructive suggestions on this site over the years.

The problem is most have simply been ignored.

There is no racing ombudsman,so we are just expected to suck up what is,at times, simply diabolical service that this industry offers.

This is not a new company,IGN started a long time ago now.

Again,I can't agree.

PGE have had a long time to adopt a diplomatic approach, but instead have chosen to ignore customer gripes.

Why should we therefore have to be prepared to have an compromising attitude, especially when it comes to the essential tools punters need in order to bet.

Is this not 'the brain game',as sold by the industry itself?

Well said - no matter how many different names one calls a spade, it remains a spade - once again today the PA Blitz could not be taken on Interbet - now how difficult is it to get that right?

And I can never condone saying 'well done' when it is not deserved - just replying to a problem does not solve it, you actually have to DO something about it

I saw last night that in a scramble to put something up for Fairview today they took photos of some of the selections and put them up. Hardly what was required but the effort was appreciated.

Bright and early this morning the Flamingo selections are up in the usual and perfect format. Well done Tellytrack!

Fallen to pieces again. No trainers comments. Pictures taken off a monitor. Nothing for Flamingo tomorrow.

I suppose it was good while it lasted.
