Is the York festival not in August with the running of the Ebor Handicap and the Nunthorpe the day before. Or is this York festival a separate festival from the Ebor one ?

Opener looks an extremely competitive race, 3 or even 4 have a huge shout. Don't leave out Silvery Moon in the tricast.

THE three-day Dante festival is likely to kick off on ground on the quick side of good on Wednesday after only light drizzle fell in the York area on Tuesday.
The Knavesmire was on the northern edge of a weather front passing through the middle of the country on Tuesday and there is a possibility the ground could ease a little by post time but not by much.
Clerk of the course William Derby, who postponed watering because of the rain threat, said: "We've had some steady drizzle today but only about 2mm in total as of 6pm. This may continue into the early hours of the morning and there are some rain clouds around but we're not forecast vast amounts.
"The course is in a good position to take it and a clear day is forecast for Wednesday with temperatures around 16C."
The seven-race card commences at 2.10, with Wednesday's feature race, the Musidora Stakes, taking place at 3.45.
