UK/Ireland/France Sunday Cards
9 years 1 month ago
Some high-class racing today.
R4 Saint-Cloud (Prix Ganay) Sumbal E/W. As is often the case, UK bookmakers have priced up the UK runners (Air Pilot & The Corsican) much shorter than they should be, with the result that some of the French-trained runners are a bit too big. The selection has finished second to Garlingari in his two runs this season, but is considerably better off at the weights today (will also appreciate the longer trip today). Can go well at 12/1 (Coral, Skybet, BetVictor).

After the hammering I took yesterday, I feel like a Sharks rugby player, i am loathe to waste more money today. But i have taken one bet and thats on NATHRA to give Frankie the double. Took 11/1 now 10s

Mark Johnston says Lumiere is in the top three 2 year olds he's ever trained. Big talk. He says no concerns about the mile and she should get it. Hopefully she's trained on. She's around 9/2 I think.
Minding and Ballydoyle are strong opposition though.
Think Amazing Maria is a great at 4/1 vs Jazzi Top at 15/10. If she transfers her last year's form here, she'll win.

Captain Scooby won two weeks ago over the 5 in a fast run race and has only been penalised 1lb for it. 8/1 and will be toward the rear end of the field but will finish strongly.
This is in the opener at Hamilton (Scotland)

totally pissed with the jockey. He is sitting in the stalls looking around and paying no attention whatsoever to the starter. Jumped late losing 5 lengths.

R6 Salisbury Real Dominion @13/8. Weak race, has the best form, should win.
