Zain Race 2, do you give Be Fabulous a winning chance?
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

My favourite track in all of SA. Won a nice Pick 6 thanks to a brilliant ride by Patrick McGiven in the last leg. I saw him dart around the bend to lead by 5 lengths and i took out an imaginary cigar and went ballistic

Mr. H, your fancy is the one they all have to beat, considering she has run to stronger and beaten both Excellent and Be Fabulous before. I feel Be Fabulous is well in here against both Adorada and Excellent on the run of the 29/12. Not sure what happened to Be Fabulous in the race to Star Express, because on that run, she still has a bit to find against Excellent. Maybe she doesn't enjoy the long straight but I'm guessing. Just think with the swing at the weights, especially against Adorada, 13/2 is big.

Based on weight turnaround and he really enjoyed the 2000m

Race1: With the scratching of State Ballet, this is wide open. Nel has two interesting first timers, both in the betting. A race to tread lightly.
Race 2: We have Be Fabulous in this small but competitive handicap. Her last run she was chased up too early in a race that was run at a very hot pace, and duly faded out of it. She goes best when held up for a run. She has run well at Durbanville and is working well. She takes on a few very nice younger fillies, but this time it looks as if she is not too badly in at the weights. We expect a decent run.
Race 3: Sugar Frosted and Jingle Belle are lightly raced with big scope for improvement. Secret Plan has good form and will present a stern test. All 3 for the pick 6.
Race 4: We have Twenty Four Carat here, and he is overdue his maiden win. he is fit and well and should not miss the places in this field. Weskus Klong is the one to beat. He is bred for the extra, but he needs to learn to jump from the gates. Both for pick 6.

Race 5: Variance is the selection. She should stay the 1600m. There is not much between Rockingonthemoon, Prudence Prevails and Judith Anne. Bigger perms put all four, smaller players banker Variance.
Race 6: An open race- go wide. Bruno and Kilrain have both dropped down the ratings, and are now running off competitive marks. Five Star Rock and Magical Bet are improving 3yos and must be included.
Race 7: Chanukah is well weighted, and is the narrow selection in a very competitive race. An upset result is a distinct possibility- Three Blue Cranes at 14/1 is good ew value.
Race 8: This is a field leg. Top of the rock At 12/1 looks interesting.( now scratched)
