Good decision to move. Rained heavily early Saturday morning, not forgetting the past few days especially Thursday morning.

Does anyone know why they automatically change the meeting to Grey Poly? Why don't they try change it to Grey Turf? Surely by moving it to Grey grass, the number of scratchings would not be as high??? Or am I wrong?

But Bob, Durban hasn't had nearly the amount of rain Pmb have had... I'm a few km away from Greyville, and seriously not much rain... Imo, probably perfect racing conditions for turf racing.... Wouldn't it just make more sense to change it to Turf 1st, and if shit happens, you can change it to poly at a later stage?

Only decision was to go to the poly. We were only racing on the grass again in March so there had been a lot of irrigation on the grass and with the rain during the week and another 10 mls last night we would never have been able to race on the grass.
