Very interesting to see hes running over 3200 m on Saturday..

Imo his best runs in the last year or so was over 1200m ( cape merchants and diadem) and he set his career best over 1600m

Thoughts? look its a small field and if run like last year it will be a 600m sprint on Saturday

He ran a very good second in the Cape Winter Derby as a 3yo over 2400m, so it would not be a surprise if he can go the extra 800m.

Was a false pace the year before when he won , but I agree very dangerous letting a top horse do what it wants

What we need to remember KOP got his ratings beating the best horses in the country

Coltrane his rating beating poor stayers
