and the stipes in all their wisdom allowed Fair Colour to race again today.... The result... She DID NOT JUMP!!! Please I hope a stipe reads this and swallows his pride, reads the rules, and decides to suspend this poor horse as she and her ilk are bad for racing. She would be better off running in a paddock as Racing is not for her.
On the 5th Jan she lost 5 lengths. The stipes thought it prudent to suspend her for a whopping 7 days - She did not disappoint them and has not jumped in both her subsequent starts, the penultimate is blamed on the stalls. Today the stipes can only blame themselves for destroying punters cash in cold blood.
If there is a genuine desire to bring racing to more people then the NHRA has a responsibility to take their duties seriously and put punters and the horse first in all decisions.

I sit and ponder the objection rules often and realize that of all the rules in Racing that I could explain to a new punter this is the only one that I would have to declare ignorance. It seems that an aggrieved horse and rider would have to fall to get the race. On other days a slight bump seems enough . There is NO GOOD REASON for this confusion - If racing is a game of skill then the rules should be clear and concise and not rely on guess work - "If, Maybe he could have" Nonsense

I did mate but in truth partly cos I did it on Tuesday and I would have been absolutely pig-sick if it had come in today and I wasn't on... just the way the mind work some days.
I was aware of the potential for problems so I have no-one else to blame. But, even that comment does tend to lend support to Mr H's observations... which I fully support.

Oh yes ,the "but for the interference, what would have occurred ".................system
I would love to find a selection of races ..............stop them 300-400m out and ask the stipes to predict the result from that point ................(We know Nico can't

The stipes have acted harshly(NOT) suspended 30 days after another no-jump yesterday!!. Its like an alcoholic driver causing accident after accident every-time he starts his car and the courts saying warning or maybe 30 days in jail will help.Just take away his license to drive!! Why is this horse taking the place of other horses that do want to jump and that run two races alike? Surely the rule for in and out running can be enforced here? If it cannot be used on a horse like this then how can it EVER be applied to a horse that has had it's MR manipulated? This is so simple to enforce - The horse does NOT RUN TWO RACES ALIKE - The trainer is NOT manipulating the system the horse just does not like jumping and as such is as predictable as a Donald Trump speech!! I wish I was still under the rules of the NHRA so that they could sanction me on this matter as I feel I would embarrass them into acting correctly. I feel that with a delinquent horse like this the Stipes should force her to jump from the stalls on a raceday with other delinquents after the last race like a barrier trial as it is obvious that they pass her tractable at some point but she is not!! They can film the start and upload to their site so the public can feel safe that she and her friends are rehabilitated.
