It's a Rush: Press Release
Subject: Cape Town bracing itself for the J&B Met 2016
Date: 28 January 2016
Cape Town is bracing itself for its biggest sporting and social occasion,
the J&B Met, which takes place at Kenilworth racecourse this Saturday.
This is an annual extravaganza where fashion at its elegant best meets
world class thoroughbred athletes amidst a swirl of social vibrancy and
sideshow entertainment.
The J&B Met is South Africa's longest standing sporting event and this
year's theme is "A Rare Blend," so there are sure to be many dazzling
outfits catching the eye. The always popular J&B Met Lifestyle Village,
owned by Megapro, is situated on the racecourse infield, will this year be
providing a platform for some of the country's most popular artists. They
will perform throughout the day and will continue into the night at the
always much anticipated Met After Party.
Flipside are the Lifestyle Village hosts and are bringing to this year's
Met artists of the calibre of Anthea Scholtz, Thank Me Later, Chris de Vos
from Sexy Groovy Love, Ryan Murgatroyd, Strange Loving, Tomorrows Will and
Brett Aitken. The festival area will feature two fully-stocked bars, a food
court area with food trucks to satiate appetites, cocktail and lounge areas
for relaxation and refreshments while watching the racecourse action, and
of course Tote facilities to ensure you stand a chance to win big if you’re
feeling lucky on the day.
Visit computicket.co.sa and get to the races for a great day out!
