Like on Thursday , I question the track report ...............had lots of rain overnight in Midrand, but it is reported that only 5 mils fell at the track ............if it gets wet, it could change the fortunes of some.....
In the 4th, Graduation Day has never raced in the wet, while both Aurum Pot and Mofeed will not be bothered by soft conditions.
French Navy also does not mind the wet, but I think the soft going could be a problem for Mac de Lago - ran his worst race on a yielding track - of course the going might not have been the reason for his below par effort that day, but it still casts some doubt .........so for me I'm now looking at both Judicial and Killua Castel as the biggest dangers to French Navy
Abashiri ran a great 3rd behind Rabada in soft conditions at Greyville, so looks the potential banker on the day
Agree that the Swallow Stakes has now been thrown even more open with the scratching of She's a Dragon - Spring Wonder the only one to have put a reasonable effort in soft conditions (finishing well in front of Old Em behind Speedy Suzie in the Protea Stakes)
In the 8th, not sure how ready Patch It Up Baby is, but at beat she would taka a lot of beating imo - especially if the going turns up soft - as Vino Veritas does seem to prefer the going on top
Most other races look very competitive - enjoy

Very impressive winner, and with not everything going her way
Sounds like today is the day they find out if Graduation Day is as good as they think?

Determined finish by Lerena. Cat's Whiskers won't be a maiden for long.
