At the end of the day, she will end up making tons more stake money this year than the rest of them because of how weak her rivals in the age group are and on pedigree she'll make tons more once she retires so I don't think connections are stressing too much  This is all that really matters doesn't it? No one wants to see who the best horse in the country is, I mean our biggest, most prestigious race is a handicap

True that. Her stud fee will be huge. I'm imagining a Louis the King x Silver Mountain baby :woohoo:

Silver Mountain is the best 3 y/o in the country by far! She would destroy this field over 1800m! She finished less than a length behind the winner after being brushed and having to switch coming from so far back on a day where the front runners weren't stopping! She should and would have won the boys Guineas if she just had a bit more luck and was closer up with the pace. So I will say it again...she is an absolute SUPERSTAR and by far the best 3 y/o in the country!!!!

fully agree. but let's not be biased. every horse has bad luck - she lost the guineas fair and square.

Yup - that is the thing with horseracing - luck in running plays a big factor in the outcome of horses performance. But take nothing away from Noah, he is a classy sort with a HUGE heart! I just cannot wait to see Silver Mountain in the KZN season at Greyville. With her style of running, she is going to LOVE that track and clean up ALL the big ones on the Greyville track! Remember this post - if she doesn't clean up, I will eat my Computerform!!

She'll clean up in her age group. We'll see how good she really is when she faces the older horses.

She will clean-up all the WFA events - no matter if she runs against the boys or girls. The handicaps are another story - the handicapper might just get to her, but if she is not lumped with ridiculous weights, she will win those as well. But I am pretty sure they will look after her very carefully and place her in the right races with the right weight. One thing we all know is that weights can stop a train, so yes, she can be beaten by that, but on pure class and ability, she is untouchable!!!

She can make millions this year staying in her age group and preferably with the filly's, don't think they need to be hero's and go for too many other races. Maybe one or two WFA's and only preps in handicaps I would assume.

IMHO none of these horses are in the same league as Same Jurisdiction. 1800m ??? she is entered for the Met........ cant see Duncan entering her if he didnt think she could stay 1800m. SJ by 4 lengths going away.

Very much in the SJ camp as this filly is something special. My only concern is that 1600 is her limit. I am a firm believer that horses can be superstars over a certain distance and yet 200m either way can make them look amateur
I didn't choose the #puntlife, the #puntlife chose me!

I am with neigh on this one.
Be warned... 5/2 will not last for SJ.
