What a win! As Anton said Jay Peg could have gone another 400m and still have shat in. The formline of his Dubai win is so strong, on paper there was no one to really touch him.
I really have always thought Anton is up there with the best jocks in the world, another brilliant ride.
Jay Peg was around 3-1 here in the UK. I wonder what he was with the SA bang gat bookies?
Congrats to the connections, according to the Racing Post calcs he's won £2,18m. That around R33m, a fair return wouldn't u say?!

From the Racing Post:
"Ascot officials are, however, understandably keen to attract him and Nick Smith confirmed at once that all obstacles to Jay Peg's participation in the Prince of Wales's Stakes are being removed and a travel allowance on offer if connections can be persuaded to change their minds."
It would be great to see him race at Ascot!

Well done Puffin and all connections. Watched the race and enjoyed how Marcus rode Jay Peg. Well placed and charged at the right time. Perfect timing.
