SCOTIA ON THE WEEKEND!
17 years 4 weeks ago
Good morning to the CLAN on what has been a fair week, but a couple of results were rather detrimental to my health.
On the subject of health, I could be coming a junkie with the amount of tablets I take?
I have one for the gout, one for the back/leg pain, one for the high blood pressure, and now a couple for cold and flu, but the mixture is nice to wash them down, must have an alcohol base?
Anyway life goes on and I cant let illness effect my normal life?
I was talking to the neighbour the other day and he said this dustbin strike is a "disaster" as we both were standing in the street watching the overfull bins, I told him that a "disaster" is Burma and China where they have dead bodies in the street, in addition a couple of youngsters came past with bakkie and trailer and asked to take away the bins for R20, what a pleasure, another "disaster" gone!
Was going to tell him going out a carry over pick 6 in the last when you have field less one and the one wins, now that is a "disaster".
Well back to the high priority of finding a couple of "hotties" for scottie, you might say why can I back a 4/10 shot, and I say where else are you going to get 40% return after 60 secs? [sprint races only].
Plenty racing for a non race day we have Aintree over the jumps tonight, Hamilton on the flat where I look forward to Turbo Linn making its seasonal debut, Newcastle, where Woolfall Treasure [now this is a bank job] at Newmarket we have Icon Project with Dettori on board and at York we have Honolulu with Murtagh aboard and Ryan Moore on Cape Colony as my best bets today.
Not to forget Fairview, where Strip the Tiger in the first and a nice treble at Greyville in the shape of Kings Bench, Juror and Lubricator [still think the best is yet to come with this beast?].
On the rugby front the Crusaders still different class and hope to see wins for the Bulls, Stormers and Sharks.
On the soccer, sorry football front, we have a non glamour final and although I have no time for Harry, I am sure Portsmouth will win the cup and North of the border, Rangers can make up for the mid-week disappointment. Look forward to the game next Wednesday.
The idols as predicted has gone down to the wire with the 2 David's, but the Cook should now beat the Archuleta.
We have a party to go to tonight and taking Mrs S to the track to try the new style cuisine in the Furious, so please come and join us for a drink, hope there is no SPAM on the menu?
Plus remember the blackpearl competition, and well done Hilton on the Derby bet for scotia, the best price, in town, but first round goes to the bookie.
On the subject of bookies, well done again to Interbet for introducing the place market, remember and get your requests posted for a few good bargains?
Good punting and may your God be with you.

I sound like a tape recording machine but I honestly have not received better customer service anywhere better then BlackPearl . Hats off to Hilton and the team. Keep up the good work.
