Very good win - but have to say I thought a poor ride from Khumalo on Lunar Approach :(

Now not so sure about the Muwaary form

you being generous ..off that weight he should have been right up there and once he couldn't win he went through the motions

Have to agree ...........Khumalo is a good rider ,but as a complete jockey ....I am not so sure ........................poor judgement too often for my liking...........very poor ride IMO!
Almost carbon copy of that ride on the deKock filly,Majmu!

The jury has to still be out for me on Lunar Approach!
Insofar as the formline of this race ...........either that was a great run by Coral Fever,or the balance may be a little overrated??

Looks like it needs further ?

Bull probably didn't stay, the winner also looked like he will get further

Race has got me confused - Bull Valley ran a great race at the weight - I don't think the trip beat him - but rather some unexposed 3yr olds who are currently ahead of the handicapper; as for Lunar Approach, yes he ran on well so may need further, but really at the weights he should have been right there - yes it was a poor ride but I'm with Rob - need to see that Muwaary form franked

The run from Isca looked a prep run. Watch this horse closely for upcoming features. Was an impressive first time winner over brazuca. I also feel the distance wasn't right for bull valley, 1200m or 1000m will be much better.
