I think of all the short priced rides Marcus has today, race 4, The Deacon, and race 6, Exit Here, are the two one can feel relatively safe will arrive (famous last words).
The Deacon, ever since returning from a break has been really consistent and should get it right today. The market rival, Courageous King, for me, appears a bit inconsistent. Not without a chance, but I won't be backing him.
Exit Here, with the scratching of Beat The Retreat, becomes the highest merit rated horse in the race and should have the others held. Merit rating aside, the exposed form is there for all to see, the horse is racing fit and should pull off the 4 timer, maybe before heading off to the Cape.
Enjoy the races.

Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Good punting
like those races as well and I am not trying to beat the top ones. .
In race 6- am slightly concerned about the second favorite however mixed doubles and trebles for me and the multiple including Saratoga Dancer.

Every few evenings it clouds over heavily in Gauteng and I move my cars into the garage for fear of hail. Nothing happens! Also I have a weed problem normally in summer on the boundary of my home but this year the weeds are not growing. Bad bad bad.

Mr H you can get help for your weed problem but it sounds as though the weather is helping. Nature is fantastic
