If South Africa reach the final (5pm kick off ) will this reduce attendance at Turffontein? or increase it?

Maybe they should put a plan in place to move to the Sunday ?

Sure the sponsors will want as much exposure as possible?

So the former Germiston November Handicap will be run in October :( This race was won by the legendary Wolf Power twice in a row, the stallion Foveros (was the sire of the filly Fovs Fancy who also won the Germiston and many other top horses), and Petrava (dam of Hoeberg and Jallad).

Ironically the Germiston November Handicap led to the Famous match race between Northern Princess and Senor Santa, when the latter was denied a run because the handicappers said he wont stay the 1600m.

Why post a thread when the facts are wrong. World Cup final will be played at 1600 UK time thus 1800 SA time and not 1700.

Why worry at all. There is no point.
S.A. won't be in the final.
Bob are you feeling all right.?
I'd rather have a full bottle in front of me than a full frontal lobotomy !!!!!!!

I wish the Americans would reschedule the Breeders Cup from midnight the same day. Too late after a lang party from celebrating an Irish victory in the RWC :-)

Hopefully the organizers will recognize an opportunity and make it possible to watch the rugby (especially in the unlikely event that the Boks make the final) at the track - lots of folks seem to like the idea of an 'after-party' so why not have one in the evening ?
