Agree with you Johnny as there are far more important and horrible things happening to people across the world but sport is an out, a passion that takes our minds away from the human tragedies occurring every single minute of everyday. For that hour and a half we forget about our worries and fears. Only problem is that supporting the Boks it takes that little bit longer to overcome a defeat like the ones over the past year or so as we all know how good they really are but because of Meyer the team are piss poor

.....Hell it seems that nobody has a sense of humour after being Hiroshima'ed by the Japs....
but putting sentiment and patriotism aside.... this has got to be one of the best games ever played.....we were not that poor.... the Japs were just better.... almost flawless.....and like the average Saffer that has no idea of Japanese determination they thought the game was a formality....our coach is an absolute box.....failed to do his home work and switch his game plan thinking we would overwhelm them in 40 min.....FFS Eddie Jones used the same tactics formulated for our suprise in 2007 and half the Jap team could make it into any Kiwi side for the super 15....

Very surprised to see how well the Japs played. Deserved to beat our aging useless setup.
At least it has made the rest of the group games interesting.
