Saftote-very hard to support

.....according to them....they are tops....accountable to no one....because only a handful ever bother to winge.....yet droves are leaving the game....and fewer are falling in.....the scale is tipping but no one pulling finger to get it right.... :whistle:

Not only is the problem the failing to close the bet on time ,but the entire bet was voided and refunded in terms of rule 2.13 which states:
Closing Time Of Pools: Bets must either be accepted by the wagering system of the operator before the stated closing time or when the wagering system closes for the purposes of accepting bets for the particular pool for which the bet is placed. A bet cannot be accepted after the result of the event is known, if a wagering system of the operator erroneously accepts a bet in this circumstance the bet would be refunded.

It is noted that the rule makes provision to refund "the bet" (ie one that breaches the rule) and not the entire pool/legitimate bets,so all bets taken after closing time should be refunded and the legitimate winning tickets should be divided into the pool consisting of legitimate tickets(in terms of their wording) and a dividend declared accordingly.
However,as normal, the rule has been incorrectly read/interpreted/handled by "P" !

Punters are increasingly bcomin frustrated wth the results & constant changing of bet types. Hense, why they are turning to numbers & sport bet.

the operators haven't got a clue what the punters needs and wants are, they fail to understand what drives a punter and also to satisfy his adrenalin rush..the problem with the operators is they refuse to listen from anyone outside their employ and continue to lose market share to bookmaking companies and also other forms of gambling...some of the management that are responsible for turnover I wouldn't let them run my bath for me let alone my business

As a matter of interest ,Saftote cocked up todays Qmix too ....................a problem with loading so the field applied in one of the legs through incompetence again..............the problem is they use totally inexperienced and people lacking the knowledge, to perform functions,and then fail to manage them.

Have just read the post and must admit I cut my losses when I backed dettori on a 5/1 shot and it paid R2.10 and was NOT the tote fav, it's a very old post and never did get a proper answer
