Is Commom Sense Just Out of The Question ?
9 years 9 months ago
On Monday evening I decided to have a few nibbles on UK racing.
Everything was going fine until 2000hrs when Winning Ways started.
I am well aware that it is a problem when the programme clashes with live racing but I have rather naively believed Tellytrack when they say (and they have rammed it down our throats often enough in the past) that the channel is primarily a 'racing channel'. So one would expect revenue generating racing to take precedence.
So once the 'talking heads' come on with their insider jokes and stale reviews of LAST WEEK's racing they simply cut off live broadcasts of the very activities which ACTUALLY FUND THIS SPORT! Nothing demonstrates their attitude to punters better than this.
Surely they could, at least, still offer the pictures on the live stream via one of the two channels on offer? Noooooo........there too they shovel out Winning Ways as well. Often on BOTH channels. Why? It's hardly cutting edge viewing.
Jawellnofine. Back to sports betting for me where they are highly unlikely to cut off a sports event in running and inject a magazine programme.

HI Garrick.I agree that WW is a magazine programme that basically shows replays.I have to say that James Goodman and Paul Lafferty are quite knowledgeable But the entire content of the show should be changed.I mean here we have two experienced horsemen who have tons to say but they really aren't saying anything. The concept of the show needs to change.maybe New producer, director etc.Yes a lot of people watch, and that's because we racing enthusiasts have nothing else to watch.I really feel that it's a missed opportunity in that they could make a' good 'show GREAT.and that's just my opinion.

I love watching this show...
But i hear that some magazine shows get 2 or 3 hundred views and a waste of air time
How many watch that breeding magazine? can`t even remember it`s name its that interesting..
