Speed ratings (best of last 2 sand runs) for those contenders with previous VS form.
Best ever figure (historical) in brackets.
RACE 1 – 1200m
78…She’s a Flirt…15/10
76…River Empress…7/2
73…Buddy’s Falcon…7/1
73…Love Tryst…8/1
72…Mystify Me…11/2
72…Attract the Crowd…16/1
Recent results over 1200m have favoured those drawn in the lower half of the field (only 2 runners from the top half have made it into the exactas in the last 10 races).
What initially appeared to be a 2 horse race now seems pretty open as the two favourites are drawn high. Buddy’s Falcon’s running-on style makes it doubtful that her low draw is of much advantage. Meanwhile Attract the Crowd has run most of her best races from poor draws but both of these contenders are around the top of their game which either way is probably not good enough to win here, unless Striker can get those extra 3 lengths out of Buddy’s Falcon.
Similar improvement from the front running well-drawn Love Tryst, who was drawn best when running 2nd and achieving her 73, would be enough to score here.
RACE 3 – 1600m
77…Pride in Battle…16/10
71…Susquehanna…6/1
68…Eastside…11/2
66…Icy Breeze…4/1
63…Ginger Sioux (75)…16/1
57…Sweet on You (72)…16/1
56…Wallasey (75)…12/1
When Pride in Battle was beaten by Susquehanna (behind Bellevue) it was a mediocre performance…before and after that she has run 4 lengths better. Expect her to win comfortably here. Always respect the STP stable so Icy Breeze needs to be included.
RACE 4 – 1600m
Like No.1 Cristal Arrow and keeping an eye on Beautiful Dawn
RACE 5 – 1450m
76…Blue Blazer…7/2
74…Pera Hur…5/2
72…Tzitzikama Fire…8/1
70…Marsden (76)…20/1
65…Mystic Realm (71)…50/1
65…Sparticus…14/1
57…Roving Jet…4/1
Very tricky and often the draw is always an issue over this 1450m…and goes against the top two in the betting. Looks a big opportunity for Roving Jet from draw 3.
Best ever figure (historical) in brackets.

Wouter, Escudo has been scratched
Very nice card imo - some quick thoughts........
R1: Looking at the draws, the value imo is Love Tryst
R2: I really think Ahlaam will prove too good at these weights; danger imo is the course specialist Lavender Landscape and Solar Triptych to make up the trifecta
R3: Pride in Battle and Susquihanna
R4: Open - on breeding Arabian Arrow should take to the sand and if so should be right there
R5: Weak maiden - De La Vere and De Lujo both try the sand, but have the draw, so not to be left out - Blue Blazer slightly wide draw, but should be right there
R6: Battle of Alma right there; for some value I like La Tasca and Tearaway
R7: A Million Dreams being by Jay Peg, should take to the sand, and has an obvious chance, Star Empress to make him run
R8: With all the scratchings, Commodore Al looks hard to beat, and on some collateral form looks to hold his main danger Lord Windsor
Enjoy

@ Englander and Frodo - thanks for pointing it out he was priced up early this morning...
But now I see it is scratched, least I can make amendments now - much appreciated
@ Frodo agree on Ahlaam in the second - jock is in good form too...

Thanks Frodo, nice summary n I agree with plenty... would only point out Embrasiatic in R4. Sire has only produced two others to date, Ahlaam and Olympic Bolt. Break and 12 draw the worries at the price.
