Bob,If you buy a racehorse,even if you don't hang on to the bitter end (ie racing it only it at 2,3 and 4 ) the cost is at least R250,000 + purchase price.
As you say,in the context ,R350 is nothing ,but the contempt that the solution showed for owners ,is probably plenty!
Maybe owners should start charging breeders everytime they use their horses name when trying to sell future years yearlings ? :whistle:

Never quite understood the thanking of breeders......lol
We don't send thanks to the manufacturer every time our car gets us home, without incident!.......lol
so why: "thanks for letting me pay many thousands of rand,buying this horse,to support your business,and I am very grateful that this win gets some of it back"

But you do thank your car manufacturer for building you a strong and b durable car that lasts you a number of years and within those years gets you wherever you want to go safely?

TT presenters are paid by the breeders to mention their winners, some mention more because they get paid more to do it..
