What's Up With The Horse Racing Betting?

BW got no prices for today,IB not showing prices either.

I think Bodds have cut them off ?

This will be the norm in a week or so time, unless bookies offer their own prices

Bettingworld who are normally first with the betting (for most meetings), i was under the impression they price up on their own and do not wait for Bodds to price up?

Having said that, Hollywood priced up for the Gold Cup meeting Tuesday (i think) and Bettingworld have not opened their betting to the public as yet. In all probabilty Bodds have not opened their betting to the public either.

Therefore it must be safe to say that two of the biggest operators do price up independently of Bodds.

Why is the use of Bodds, to determine a "ruling price", not contrary to the Competitions Amendment Bill..............I thought that govt only approved "price-fixing" on designated essential items................I wouldn't have thought bookie prices qualified! :huh:
I wonder if anyone has ever asked officially?
It seems to me that if the fixing of "ruling prices" was outlawed, most bookies would be stuffed!
