I think Faster COmpany, if taking to the poly should be too good here from draw 1.

SANDOWN

RACE 1 HALLINGHAM, CD winner ( won the race last year) stayed on well after being headed last time.

RACE 2 AMERICAN ARTIST was very dissapointing last time at Kempton but if returning to the form he showed last year when winning at Goodwoood he would win this...

RACE 3 UNDER ATTACK ran well on debut( winner came from the form line) but betting suggested he was unfancied that day ( 33/1) so should be more about it today..

RACE 4 DOCTOR BONG won well last time inspite not liking the tight Chester track ( ran in snatches) won`t have needed to improve much to follow up tonight (stable has a good record in this race )

RACE 5 HAINES might be worth a shot on turf, was very progressive on the all weather over the winter winning 4 races and might have need his last run ..

RACE 6 MCDILLON loves this course and distance, has the services of Richard Hughes and is well drawn, was a bit unlucky last time was stopped when making his run and with a clear passage can make it course win number 4...

mid week meetings are a pain as the fields are small and the quality of runner not very good. Only going to play the big meetings from now on.

Maassat is much shorter on Interbet than Hollywood, worth a punt at 9/1
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Just turned on the telly... watched the recent race from Leicester . As a punter who enjoys exotics like trifectas and quartets I was absolutely pissed off with the riding of the 3rd and 4th horses there. And it is something that happens again and again with UK racing... if cannot win do not ride the horse out. Are the 3rd and 4th stake cheques THAT poor? The jockey of Surety did his utmost (short of standing up in the stirrups and yanking his horses head off) NOT to finish closer. But he was out done by the fourth who managed to slide from 3rd to 4th in the last 40 metres.

happens lots of the time. I don't bet in the week anymore. Only big meetings where you know that 85% are triers. Crazy to see two horses fighting out the last furlong as the rest of the field ease up. Lost far to many times on my each way betting with horses/jocks who stop when beaten.
