Seems like the meeting could be in danger following heavy rains and more predicted?
A decision will be made on Thursday, so say sporting post.

It has been raining really hard from about 10 last night...lots of water standing on the surface...just hope the rain is also falling in the catchment areas...expected and hopeful it continues for a little while more...if the Gold Cup meeting has to be postponed due to rain, I would welcome it as we need all the rain that comes out way...

Water restrictions in place for some time now and severe fines if limits exceeded...

true that we need the continuous rain. Gold cup not so important.
