The Biggest Mutt in racing

I speak to one of the owners regarding the Gomma Gomma via email on Thursday and say that I reckon that there will be a suprise in this years installment of the Gomma Gomma. I said Our Giant should start favourite but I expect a either won of Shes on Fire or Eddington to win because of their low mass. I had a grand total of 0.00 Zim$ on the race which means I gave the tote money on other bets and won a hiding for my efforts.
Of course I cant forget to mention that I left out Grecko Striker and JJ (2nd Mutt award) Sorry Lucky for leaving him out and well done my friend. You deserve every bit of glory that comes your way. I will follow the Mood when he runs again.
I then went on to say that I do not expect Hunting Tower to win as I believe that they are aiming him for the July double especially if Anton is up mith a mass of 55KG.
I am on Hunting all the way for the July. You will see me with an ABC Banner 50M from the winning post.

Isnt it funny how the 3 year olds with low weights often outshine the older horses in the features in Joburg yet in Cape Town the 3 year olds always seem out at the weights. I might be way off base but id love to know how many 3 year olds have won features in open company in Joburg over the last few years.
I think the Pocket will be very hard to oppose in the July. I will never discount Anton though, its cost me so many times in the past and for me he's the best SA jock for the last 10 years.
Remember an unfit and injured Pocket gave Hunting Tower 3 kg last year and only got beat in the last 50m. If the Pocket has a decent prep and stays sound and fit he should find a few lengths from that defeat...

I'm not taking the Gomma Gomma form on face value - i think the sloppy conditions of the race saw most of the runners racing below form - The one thing that is puzzling is that many of the serious contenders had in common is that they had raced well in the wet before but none shaped (i did not think Eddington or She's On Fire were in the race) I'm sure there were a few heads being scratched at Randjes on Monday so i'm going to wait until the races leading up to the July are run and try to find a horse that is in form to be with.
