Your July Day Rituals ??

I personally dont allow any visitors or entertain any phone calls, I get rid of the kids and pets for the day and of course make sure that theres plenty of "supplies" at home.

I donot go the track nor the totes/bookies etc....its way too crowded.

Tellytrack and laptop @ home.

My favourite day of the year by far.....bring it on!!!

I used to have a maid...who would not utter a word except for during a race that I have bet on....and without fail everytime she spoke to me during a race, I lost

That used to piss me off like crazy...I now have to clean the house up myself ( worst part is that I still F..ckn lose!)

Life sure aint easy

Notice the "wife" is not mentioned at all.

Sadly, during the July of 2011, she "broke down" . I did the only humane thing I could.

Divorced her....never been happier since!

True story.

First priority is to wake up alive after a molly lunch and press conference then get dressed up to look like a winner then try and find a few.
I do have lucky under rods " only fools and horses" with Del Rodders and uncle Albert
have bad feet and have to strap them up with cream etc to keep pain at bay to wear proper shoes but after a few JWB s I will be fine for day and night.
can't wait to get on plane early in the morning

Good punting

Stay away from the course.... ;)
make sure all bets are on...
the viewing point is unobstructed....
sit back and discuss the merits and track conditions of each race...and how it will influence your fancy...
check out the chicks who some how think that 23 degrees in the sun is warm... :P :P :P :P
knowing that they are going to get COLD in the shade...

Been to the July many times, it's almost like planning your wedding day. Nothing comes close to Couch, TV, Drinks, Snacks and of course a Laptop - this year I'll add no loadshedding to the list and perhaps a winner or three.
