NO CHANCE!
as long as medicals are passed there is no limit that i know of...
But as i understand the new employment rules in GC country, all "employees" have to retire at 65.

I'd like to see things from your point of view but I can't seem to get my head that far up my arse.

I agree with Bob, what did KingKarl do wrong on Hot ticket - not much in my book -he tried every inch. I backed hot ticket & Gallica rose, both got beat by a ball hair. .... but that does not make them shit jocks ..... things just didn't pan out right for me punting and them / jockeys.
Now had they BOTH WON by a ball hair they'd be bloody heroes - fickle game this.... We generally talk from our pockets, I'll get it back on Wylie hall 7 / 1 hehe

Why the thread has zoomed on Karl Neisius when its about retiring age of jockeys?
With the hazards and diet restrictions these guys have to deal with, much and much more of a career hinges on staying light and not going overweight ( like Dennis Bosch ).
And of course having to ride with niggles like broken bones, pins and screws pinched nerves and back problems etc.
Many a jock been forced into early retirement on docs orders due to severe back problems Michael Roberts and now Kevin Shea amongst others.

How old was Figueroa when he retired some 3 or 4 years ago ? Definitely in his 50's maybe even 60 's
Also retired due to health problems and not weight problems which is normally why jocks retire early.
