Spurwing Summer takes a big jump in distance but I think it will suit. She looks bred for the extra and has been finishing strongly over 1600m the last 2.

I quite like the card - but we know the story about the proof of the pudding ....
R2: I think this could be a potential mine-field for the BP - Dragon Li's form not the strongest imo; Gentleman Only has run some good races, but is not the most consistent - tries the blinkers, so who knows; I'm including Rozario, comes back to the 1000m trip over which he ran arguably his best race behind Bad Boy Buddy Boy - and Striker takes the ride again - and then we have the debutantes who do not have to be world-beaters to feature here
R3: Can't oppose Poderosa
R4: 3 stand out; Roman Calamity has the advantage of the draw, so could win this from Counterstroke and Thiel
R5: Tough maiden fillies - my first choice is Lillipeg, who made a fair debut in a strong-looking field - but I think you need quite a few in the excotics
R6: Mr Mulliner well handicapped here, so time to sink or swim for me - Silver Scooter looks held by MM, but has obvious claims; Light the Way also looks held at the weights - quite a few others look to upset at best- Form Up, Trade Emblem (who knows), Front Rank (probably prefers softer), Kiss Me Hardy and Victory Cruise
R7: As I stated earlier, I think Jolie Roger could be heading fro the tops; Woza Madoda well handicapped and could be the right one if JR is not as good as I think; the handicapper now got hold of Loco Por Ganar, but could still feature; longshot for me could be On the Nod
R8: I like Platinum Jet, slight concern about the 1800, so I'm including Deo Juvente as back-up; Rumbling Lion has had plenty of problems, but once ran close to Louis the King, so has the class and could surprise if coming back to that form.
R9: Tough closing race, I like Commodore Al and Go Gold; CA has the better draw and could give Sherman a welcome back present, but GG also looks good value; quite a few others with credentials.
Enjoy

Pronghorn at 7 to 1 a place is my bet.
He has done well this course, finishing 4th behind Rafa and gets a nice draw.

Think Dragon Li is the right one.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

Bob,I see Darryl Holland is riding at Champ De Mars.
I was only wondering where he was a couple of weeks ago.
