Car accident on R59 WERE jockeys involved???

Getting different stories.

The grooms who were on a work riders course at James Maree, were on their way back from the day's course.
5 of our grooms were on the course . 4 of them were in a bakkie and Mongezi without a doubt, our very best groom, was in the taxi. Our guys who were in the bakkie are ok. Mongezi is in the Emfuleni hospital, with a broken femur, a lost finger and broken ribs. For some reason, he was still wearing his skull cap. It is badly smashed. He us currently heavily sedated. The driver was cut out of the wreck and airlifted. Unconfirmed, is that one of Lucky Houdalakis grooms has passed away.
James Maree is in a bad state, having heard the news.
Apparently, a veld fire caused a lack of visibility.
