.....standing this horse in KZN is never going to get him any decent mares to start with....
I believe he is genetically incongruous to have anything special to make a mark as a viable stallion.... the one you have picked may be better than the others....but will battle to win enough to make ownership a rewarding experience....

Oh ye of little faith .... they will go cheap'ish ...but first crop only. Unfortunately buying and owning a racehorse is a luxury I cannot afford, else I would have gone for 101 and 196.

SUNCOAST TO HOST KZN YEARLING SALE NEXT WEEK
BloodStock South Africa are proud to announce that Suncoast Casino will again be hosting the annual KZN Yearling Sale next Thursday and Friday, the 2nd and 3rd July.
One of South Africa’s premier thoroughbred auctions, the Suncoast KZN Yearling Sale offers buyers the chance to acquire a thoroughbred likely to compete in a R1 million race in 2016- with all graduates of this exceptional value for money sale automatically qualifying to run in the KZN Yearling Sale Million on Vodacom Durban July day next year.
Extremely popular with buyers from all over the country, this sale is perfectly placed on the local auction calendar, being held just one day before South Africa’s greatest horse-race, the Vodacom Durban July.
In recent years, the sale has unleashed a torrent of subsequent stars, most prominent being SASCOC Triple Crown winner, and Sansui Summer Cup hero Louis The King. A R55 000 buy from the 2012 KZN Sale, Louis The King recently retired from the racetrack, having won or placed in nine major feature races and earned in excess of R5 million.
Other notables to have graduated from the KZN Yearling Sale include G1 Allan Robertson Fillies Championship winner and subsequent French winner Happy Valentine, classic winners Goat and Seal, star filly Same Jurisdiction, herself a winner of the G1 Thekwini Stakes, and former star filly Virgo’s Babe. These are just a few of the top class performers to have been sold off a sale renowned for its value for money thoroughbreds.
Many of the country’s top stallions are represented at Suncoast, with the likes of Black Minnaloushe, Captain Al, Dynasty, Elusive Fort, Fort Wood, Ideal World, Kahal, Silvano, Trippi, Var, and Western Winter all represented by lots at Suncoast.
A number of well performed and blue blooded young sires will also be represented at the sale for the first time. They include Bold Silvano, Curved Ball, Dan De Lago, Gimmethegreenlight, Gitano Hernando, Golden Sword, Main Aim, Pathfork, Philanthropist, and Traffic Guard.
“SUNCOAST is proud to have partnered with the KZN Yearling Sales for the past five years, it is an event that adds excitement to the upcoming horse racing season” says Marketing Manager of SUNCOAST, Louise Howell, who goes on to say, “As a premier entertainment destination, we at SUNCOAST aim to always ensure the best of entertainment, glitz and glamour and the KZN Yearling Sales provides just that! We are expecting to see a host of attendees next week from professional and novice bidders as well as spectators. It really is a highlight on the horse racing calendar and we encourage all to attend and experience the hype!”
