Afternoon.

This afternoon completed, and went as follows.......

The 1st runner we wanted 3.3, and with getting 2.84 on arrival and getting shorter, we had a lay at 2.84 max. The lay was nicely beaten, so a good result.........

The 2nd runner we wanted 1.46, and with being around 1.58 on arrival and only coming down to a lowest 1.48, we never see a penny matched at our lay price, so all had to avoid the race. The runner found more trouble tan 'Kate Adie' in running, but had far too much class in the end to win the race!, so a good leave.........

The 3rd runner we wanted 3.0, and with drifting to around 3.4 on arrival and not coming back down to us, race to race players had to avoid the race. The runner ground out a hard thought win, so glad of the drift now - good discipline, and a good leave..........

The 4th runner we wanted 2.6, and with drifting to around 3.2 on arrival and although dropping down a little, the price still never came back down anywhere near our lay price, so race to race players had to avoid the race. The runner was nicely beaten, so the drift beat race to racers to the punch this time Grr! Early traders happy though........

The 5th runner we wanted 2.6, and with being around 2.76 on arrival and then dropping down to us and slightly beyond, we had a lay at 2.6 max. The lay came in 2nd after a tight finish, so a good result....

The 6th runner we wanted 3.1, and with being around 2.82 on arrival and shortening, we had a lay at around 2.82 max. The lay was a nicely beaten 3rd, so a good result.....

The 7th runner we wanted 1.6, and with being around 1.64 on arrival and then dropping down to us and slightly beyond, we had a lay at 1.6 max. The lay went and won well, so the way it goes.......

The 8th runner we wanted 2.44, and with being a well supported 2.26 on arrival and getting shorter, we had a lay at 2.26 max. The lay came in 2nd after a battle, so a good result.......

The 9th runner we wanted 2.8, and with being a well supported 2.36 on arrival, we had a lay at around 2.36. The lay went and won, so the way it goes. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it.........

The 10th runner we wanted 3.3, but a non runner and 6.3% reduction meant we now wanted a lay price of 3.16 (3.15 nearest exchange price). The price was around 3.15 on arrival, so we had a lay at 3.15. The lay went and won well, so again the way it goes. Traders again got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it........

The 11th runner we wanted 2.2, and with being around 1.92 on arrival, we had a lay at around 1.92. The
lay went and won a battle, so another favourite goes in and the way it goes. Traders yet again got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it.........

The 12th runner we wanted 2.7, and with being around 2.52 on arrival, we had a lay at around 2.52. The lay was well beaten when pulled up, so a good result........

The 13th and final runner we wanted 3.1, and with being a well supported 2.44 on arrival, we had a lay at 2.44. The lay was beaten, so a good result.........

WELL PLAYED.............(2 from the first 3 (66.66%) went and won - 4 from the first 7 (43%) went and won - and then 6 from the first 11 (54.5%) - So a tough session again, but we played it well and got the money)

'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Won 1.6 targets at least...........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner, and then hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 5th runner).............They then started their 2nd strategy/target on the 6th runner, and hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 8th runner)...........They then started their 3rd strategy/target on the 9th runner, and after three poor results on the spin, they then recouped a little on their 4th lay (the 12th runner), and then recouped nearly all on their 5th and final lay (the 13th runner), and so they concede 0.4 of a target at the very worst on this strategy/target, but win at least 1.6 targets on the session and so well played guys...

'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 2.84 max, and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets........They then had their 2nd lay (the 5th runner) at 2.6 max, and a good result see them hit their targets.....

Traders had to concede a little on the 7th runner at 1.6 max, but all others see them win a bit, or break level, so they did well enough on the session and well played guys...

So bank builders had a nice, solid, disciplined day and got the wages without any fuss, so well played guys. Rollers hit 1.6 targets at the very least, so they too played it well with those winners popping up a bit too frequently! Well played guys. I'm off out this evening, but good luck if you have a dabble, and hope to see good results on my return. Speak in the morning...

That's what we have to work on for this afternoon then. Plenty of different angles in to keep us interested, and although never easy, we do have enough within our armoury to warrant going into battle, so that's what we'll do. Discipline to the maximum, and take advantage of any prices that come our way. Good luck and speak soon with this evening's workings...
