Bit of spare time thanks to Vaalgate

R1 Memphis Mafia was much improved with the blinkers lto and a repeat of that effort should give him a decent chance. Minnaroom and Milken might fill the places. With Smith, Greeff and Bremner (2) among others with first timers out though, tread carefully.

R2 Kanara. If I play exotics then will probably make this one a banker. Shiraz Cabinet and Clarkie's Only may complete the trifecta.

R3 No selection. Paddock seems bullish on Captain Broadhurst's chances. Plain Of Wisdom and Dance And Destroy might challenge. Bertle Turtle looks held but was reported coughing lto, is on 3rd run after a short break and gets Lerena up so can't be discounted either. R1 on Woodstock Express, Shams don't sound particularly enthusiastic but a chance imo, if he can rediscover some of his earlier Gauteng form. 66/1 so the wallet doesn't need much dust brushed off ;)

R4 Competitive looking affair with plenty having a chance. Not sure about jockey bookings... interesting to me that Schlechter has jumped from Tripswitch, whom he partnered in his last 3 runs, to the du Plessis favourite, Valmode. I assume no-one has first call on his services so, presumably, the latter simply asked first? It is though Tripswitch who is my e/w fancy. He almost exclusively campaigned on the sand, after his initial few runs, in Gauteng so there is some concern as to whether he "enjoys" turf racing but his two PE turf efforts have not been so bad given that they were over ds short of his best. He now goes over a more suitable d. Despite reportedly not striding out and with the blinkers on (now off), the last effort on the poly was respectable. Muzi is the jockey booked and he has a good recent record for this yard.

R5 Possibly even tougher than R4. My choice is Mensa e/w. Was initially a little surprised by the jockey booking but Agrella has placed in 4 of 8 recent rides for the stable, winning once. Does go 200 more for the first time and hopefully won't need it after an 11 week break but was running consistently prior to that since the blinkers were applied. I think he will go close if fit and well. Small e/w "saver" on Emerald Albert. I could go on about others but there are so many of them, just go with your hunch! lol R1 e/w nutter on Redsun.

R6 Straw Market

R7 Still a little undecided. Siding with Clifton Surf. Big respect for Al Don Cumarco. At bigger prices, Vauclair is the one that interested me most.

R8 Wrote an essay on Turnstone lto and happy to stick with him. The Captain's Cat may improve now on 4th run so KZ will perhaps have to time his run to perfection. Biggest danger for me is Western Force, decent CT form and Lerena up. Wary of Corny Al who was supported lto but disappointed and now has Khumalo up.

Anyone know why the comments from trainers you get on tellytrack are often only on some of the runners from those yards? Can't fathom why they wouldn't get and publish comments on all runners (at least from those yards).

Right, now I can sit back, relax and just enjoy reading everyone else's thought n opinions... ;)

Be(s)t of luck to all
