But what about the horse ?

Harris you probably heard the stories that Hamdan was pissed off , there was rumours he threatened to pull out of SAF racing if MDK`S runners never got their runs in the cape during the season...

Problem is SAF needs him more than he needs SAF?

No, I never knew that.

Personally I think he sends the second tier horses here, the ones they feel ate not quite international standards. If they mature and develop into top animals then they bring them to dubai. I think the top ones remain in Australia. Engender it must be a southern hemisphere breeding thing too? Just my opinion.

Chris I was actually thinking that the other day, John Ferguson ( world famous agent )has the best bred jump horses ever running in his yard , would love some of those horses to come to SAF

Prior to Sheik Hamdan racing horses in south Africa, Shadwell has had a presence in South Africa for over 20 years through Summerhill Stud but that was terminated due to a disagreement in some arrangement for the School that was set up there. I know Shadwell stallions still stand in KZN albeit at different studs.

They are bringing unraced and extremely expensive yearlings into South Africa. They are definitely not second tier.
