"Group" RESULTS - 'Evening' 28th April Workings...
17 years 1 month ago
Evening.
This evening completed, and went as follows.......
The 1st runner we wanted 2.8, and with being around 2.68 on arrival and getting slightly shorter, we had a lay at 2.68 max. The lay looked cooked a couple of times, but that man Ryan Moore got the best out to win a 4-way battle for the line. Very frustrating, but the way it goes. Traders easily got their trade back prices in running, so got away with it.........
The 2nd runner we wanted 2.2, and with being around 2.06 on arrival, we had a lay at around 2.06. The price then went for a walk out to our own price of 2.5 and beyond, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade went and won, so the late drift told the wrong story and the way it goes. Glad of the 'free' lay now though........
The 3rd runner we wanted 3.3, and with being around 3.15 on arrival and then drifting out to our own price of 3.6 and beyond, before coming back in again, it was a fluctuating market and another chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade was beaten, so a good result........
The 4th runner we wanted 3.0, and with being around 4.0 on arrival and although dropping down, the price never came down to our lay price at any stage, so a race to avoid for all. The runner was beaten, so it was a case of 'one that got away in hindsight'.......
The 5th runner we wanted 1.4, and with being around 1.51 on arrival and not coming down to us at any stage at all, we all had to avoid the race. The runner went and won, so a good leave........
The 6th and final runner we wanted 2.6, and with being around 2.66 on arrival, and then dropping down to us, we had a lay at the rock bottom of the market and 2.6. The price then went for a walk and out to our own price of 2.9 and beyond, so a chance for traders and builders to have a 'free' lay. The lay/trade went and won a battling finish, so the way it goes, but glad of the free bet now.......
WELL PLAYED/BATTLED....................(2 from the first 2 (100%) went and won - and 4 from the 6 (66.66%) in total, and so builders did a cracking job to finish a little under)
'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Had to concede 2.6 targets...........They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner, and after a poor start, they ended up going to their 4th and final lay (the 6th runner) to recoup what they could, and with another poor result they ended the session 2.6 targets down..
'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 2.68 max, but a poor result see them go behind early...........They then had a 'free' lay (the 2nd runner) that only bought relief...........Then came another 'free' lay (the 3rd runner) that bought a tiny profit..........Then yet another 'free' lay rounded off their evening (the 6th runner) that only bought them relief.......So they end the gruelling session conceding between 0.7 and 0.9 of a target....

Traders either won, or broke level on all their trades, so they did a good job....
So another very tough session goes by then (this time of year always the same) and builders did very well to walk away with a tiny loss. Rollers not so good, but could've been much worse and they expect it to be up and down this time of year, but it will calm down and the nice profits will roll in again. Have a good evening and speak in the morning...

That's what we have to work around for this evening then. Discipline to the maximum and take advantage of any prices that come our way, as always. Speak soon.
