I have a day off so time to have a look at a few cards.
Good Friday was always a no go for punting, I am sure it's only Christmas day that's a no go for racing?

R4 Lingfield Captain Joy E/W. Won his only race over course and distance to qualify for this. Has one of the highest official ratings and is ideally drawn to track the pace and pounce late. 6/1 a fair E/W price
R6 Lingfield Merdon Castle E/W. Has a bit to find with Primrose Valley on latest run, but is much better drawn than her today. Should get a good tow into the race under Ryan Moore and can make the frame at around 8/1.

even though its the favourite, well something has to win, First Bombardment going by his debut last week should win. He will strike with a late run. Its been raining but should not alter the track at Mussleburgh
