I am shocked to see that the R150 000 eastern cape guineas has only 6 runners including a 63 rated maiden winner. How can there possibly be no milers to take on 150k prize money.Unreal.

I agree that is poor. but what I cant understand is that the PE horses dont go and raid like the cape horses in PE can any one clarify this for me ????? If I was a owner in PE I would insist we do a raid especially now that the main trainers are in Durban and the best horses not there ..Come on PE catch a wake up surely my favourite stable Shams can give me a answer

Moose no disrospect, but PE form on the whole is not good enough to justyfy taking horses to the Cape on raids etc ( expense for 1)

Progressive PE horses are also badly handicapped, winning a handicap in PE is easier than winning one on JHB or Durban.. so is you get a horse winning a few poor PE races and being handicapped beating poor PE horses it will be pretty hard to go raid handicaps in other centers, unles the trainer has been at the jimmy riddle
