I also rate LTK a good bet to get Met money back.

I make Unparralled a massive runner on Saturday.

..he needs a scratching to get a run though but nothing yet

In the Horse Chestnut, 7/1 looks decent value.

I still don't think the three-year-olds are as good as last term so I think LTK will beat him if he runs there

You could be right, I just feel that LTK might need and he could be fitter than a few of the other fancied runners.
very open race for me, halve the deficit ran a few crackers over 1400 and will love the extra, 3rd run after the rest, heavy metal's last run, albeit over 1100, wow! The champ is back.. :P

Dashing, you spot on buddy! ENTISAAR x ERTIJAAL best double for the day, SIRENS CALL should win and will probably enjoy the 1800m, SAME JURISDICTION will run unplaced over the 1800m, can't have her, TROPHY WIFE, TAMANEE and SMART CALL could be the biggest challenges, RAMPANT ICE I think unbelievable place value but on the day nothing will run close to ERTIJAAL.

Judging from most of the comments above wrt the Fillies Classic, it seems that I am the only one that will be greased if SJ loses. I have 4 doubles landing on SJ.
I watched that race over and over again and personally I think she will take a power of beating (pending track conditions, now a slight concern). 1800m ..no problem
Like the famous saying goes..... whatever beats her will win the race.
Take the losses on the chin and Live and Fight another day.

Double SJ and Etijaal (wins)

Since I have a little bit of time......here goes nothing!

Race 1) Juveniles over 1400m and are open to any amount of improvement. I don't like Saraaba as she has shown too much pace over shorter for my liking. Also I think she is small and with little scope. She could win but not with my money. The two I fancy to improve is Beautiful Shay (drawn 1) and News Filter (supported first time out).

Race 2) Another juvenile event but I really fancy Machismo on his debut run.....If the commentators read this, please don't pronounce the name "Makismo, it is "macheesemo", like in strong or aggressive masculine pride :)

Race 3) Obviously the de Kock hotty has to be watched but she is wayyyyy too short for my liking. The Tarry first timer will be backed and I fancy Speedy Suzy to run a big race. She is 3kg's better off for a 1.75 length beating. You can argue that Entisaar is open to bigger improvement but i will take my chances with the 8/1 on offer about Suzy.

Race 4) This is easily the hardest race on the card for me. If you can afford the field in the P6 I suggest it, no confident selections although i like the breeding of no.1, Arabian Beat. (Dam is a half sister to Arabian Lass)

Race 5) Another tough race. I think the handicapper has caught up with Vino Veritas. Not sure she is a 98 and she will struggle carrying 60kg's. I think Coby is the class but it is her 2nd run after a rest and she prefers 2 miles. Still, she could be running on and might be worth a place bet. Very hard as the others are out of form, drawn wide or under sufferance. Perhaps Sisters of Mercy, even though under sufferance could be one to have a look at.

Race 6) LTK, back at his home track and over a trip that he should enjoy first up back from a break should be the one to beat. His run in the QP puts him right up there. Unparalleled must have a shout as he is rated the 4th best here. If it is soft, he should go into everything (I don't think it will be so, tread with care). I really like Ashton Park to come on from his last run. He ran a cracker first up at Turffontein and I think he can improve. He was only 2 lengths off LTK in the QP and I think they rode him wrong in that race. If he gets a nice pace, he will be running on strongly to challenge. The pace should be decent with Deliver the Power, Captain America, No Worries and Bouclette Top all liking to run up there. DTP could make the pace as he has never competed over a mile and for me he is an out and out sprinter.

Race 7) Another competitive affair. The top two should go very well and I have always liked Same Jurisdiction as a specimen. I'm just worried about the distance. Siren's call is a fairy tale horse to own and I hope she continues on for PeterD. I fancy Tamanee as my E/W selection. Pity about the draw but in a 10 horse field, it isn't the worst thing ever. She should love the extra and Tarry says he has her "spot on".

Race 8 ) This is a nice Gr 1 race with a few very good horses taking their place. Arguably the best would be Ertijaal. I have loved him since his debut on the poly at Greyville. This is his toughest assignment to date. The distance is at his minimum range, he is drawn in the rand stadium and he won't have this all his own way. There is no doubting his class however. Harry's Son is a very nice colt and he should be competitive with Striker on board. He is drawn next to Ponte Tower so it might be even more difficult for him but what are you going to do. I think this race sets up for a little bit of an upset. French Navy is a good colt who can only improve the further he goes. I personally like the E/W on Amsterdam. He will love the distance and he is destined for much bigger things if Paul Peter is to be believed. Mac De lago has to be taken seriously as his last run was all wrong. I think ML Jet has a small chance with the no.1 draw to help him get up with the pace.

Race 9) Carry on Alice is very smart and she is rated to win this comfortably. I would perhaps just look at one or two other improvers. Anjaaal is the interesting horse for me. He could improve over the 1200m with blinkers or he could go backwards. The race will tell. All the best to Louis G with Doing it for Dan. I think he is progressive and his style of running says he will love the 1200m he gets today.

Race 10) Another feeble stayers race with the same old same old battling it out. Kingston Mines could well be the best stayer in the country but his last win was won with tactics and not so much ability. I fear that after such a great days racing this "get out stakes" is not easy and i will perhaps have a small bet on J's outsider to place.

Race 11) If Karraar is fit and well, he wins!

Enjoy the day and happy punting!

Why not a patent with LTK?, I know it sounds too obvious but LTK seldom runs a bad race at Turffontein.
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.
