Hi all, have settled the tipping comp as follow any questions on score, please email me at chris@africanbettingclan.com .

It's pretty close and by my calculations The Duke has held onto his crown from Pirates, neither of the front two added to their score and there was a tremndous effort from Elvis who had 3 winners and a 2nd.

A word for Alcaponee who had a double including 12/1 shot Rei Rei, G-man also tipped Rei Rei but had nothing to go with it.

Let the dust settle on the results which I settle manually and if no objections we ll declare The Duke the winner for the second consecutive month.

Analysis of April Competition:
7/60 = 11,67% won money
34/60 = 56,67% "won", but lost money.
19/60 =31,67% didn't win any money
Overall 53/60 = 88,33% played and lost money.

Congrats to the top seven who made money, but these stats show that the Yankee is a bet stay away from!!!

Winning twice is impressive. Well done!

Tough game this. Last week I shortlisted 7 horses. The 4 I entered lost, the other 3 won. This week I had 5 horses. My only winner was again the horse I didn't enter. I don't even want to know the odds of doing that.

Well done, Duke, and also well done to my mate Elvis; had Russian Sage won, he would have been the 2nd guy to tip 4 from 4!

Well done Duke, but I must tell you I let you off the hook this past week end. My sorry story goes, I had Rei Rei picked out early on,for some unknown reason I remember this horse being highly thought of months ago, good jock ( in some peoples eyes ) good draw at 7. Then the problem is I did FURTHER HOMEWORK & found out she had only won 2 from 11 starts...& i think 7 places. so I had a rethink & changed my mind..... left the race alone & went for Russian Sage later on.

As the race went off I told my wife, I hope Rei Rei doesn't win cause I left her out & changed my bet.... WELL WE ALL KNOW WHAT HAPPENED.

had nothing on Rei Rei..... did not want her to win for obvious reasons... still kicking myself. I agree with you, it is more difficult to bowl along in front waiting for someone to come out the clouds, such as i NEARLY did.

we'll all do battle again next month
