"Group" RESULTS - 'Afternoon' Monday 21st April Workings,,,
17 years 1 month ago
Afternoon.
This afternoon completed then, and went as follows.....
The 1st runner we wanted 2.5, and with getting around 2.44 on arrival and getting shorter, we had a lay at around 2.44 max. The lay finished a well beaten 2nd, so a good result.......
The 2nd runner we wanted 1.7, and with being around 2.12 on arrival and not coming down anywhere near our lay price at any stage, we all ad to avoid the race. The runner went and won well, so quite a nice priced winner, but more importantly a good leave.......
The 3rd runner we wanted 2.1, and with being around 2.02 on arrival and getting shorter, we had a lay at 2.02 max. The lay was nicely beaten and so a good result........
The 4th runner we wanted 2.7, and with being around 2.62 and slightly shorter on arrival, we had a lay at 2.62 max. The lay was nicely beaten in the end, so a good result........
The 5th runner we wanted 2.8, and with being around 3.05 on arrival, getting bigger, and not dropping down to our lay price at any stage after mails were sent, we all had to avoid the race. The runner was nicely beaten, so it was 'one that got away in hindsight'.........
The 6th runner we wanted 2.96, and with getting around 2.78 on arrival, we had a lay at around 2.78. The price then went for a walk out to our own price of 3.25 and beyond, so a chance for traders (builders hit and finished for the day) to have a 'free' lay before the race. The lay/trade was beaten and so a good result.........
The 7th runner we wanted 2.7, and with being 2.88 on arrival, being around 30 minutes to the race, and with all strategy play finished and only a bit of trading left, I'm leaving it there and will be back for the evening session, so good luck with the remainder traders...
WELL PLAYED...............
'Rolling' strategy/target players (no 'free' lays for them) Won 2 targets................They started their 1st strategy/target on the 1st runner, and then hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 3rd runner)............They then started their 2nd strategy/target on the 4th runner, and hit their targets on their 2nd lay (the 6th runner) and with being left an insufficient amount of potential lays, that's where they ended the session, so a win of 2 targets......
'Bank building' strategy/target players had their 1st lay (the 1st runner) at 2.44 max, and a good result see them win a chunk of their targets.......They then had their 2nd lay (the 3rd runner) at 2.02 max, and a good result see them hit their targets...
