Like davetheflower said pirates,in both saint donans runs she was more than 100-1 surely that says something about the ability of the horse not 20-1 or 33-1 but 100-1 so the connections thought the horse would probably finish the race just before the next race started.Dolf maeder hell knows when last he won a race so 11-10 was way too short so even the 6-1 you got was a bit skinny. The bookies these days are scared and if someone puts R1000 on a horse they shorten it drastically.

pirates wrote: and for the record rg I took 6 to 1 the one in the first and the double with the one in the 4th at 20 to 1 and you can check my Hollywood account ..I don't listen to others in this game and it pays off plus I do my own betting the 6 to 1 and 5 to 2 on offer were big prices imo whether they won or lost ...

pirates...i will say at the the outset there r a few ppl on here that i listen when they speak, and you 1 of them...its funny how our mind thinks...at 6/1 ,it was worth a go...but the same horse at 15/10,we read the form differently...well i took the bad price, and was disgusted at myself for backing the horse as the race was defnitely open to so many unknowns, none more, than the fact that coming down in distance was the biggest drawback for me

But in saying what I said the original favourite drifted from 1-1 to 7-2 so we would of thought that the money for saint donan was proper money.
