This is a very good Bet.

Ticks all the right boxes.

Should get 20's.

Only danger is Jay Jays Wild.

I tend to view these sort of issues like this. As an accumulative, the bookies have a wider network when it comes to gathering information on a horse's winning chances, than the punter. The fact that the horse is now double the odds should be a warning, especially as ML pointed out, it ran a solid 3rd last time out. In your favour, the horse has no clue it's on a wicked drift, and will run as well as it feels, BUT, bookies are not in the business to give money away. If it's any consolation, one of the ABC members backed the Yogas Govender Met winner despite the drift from 50's to around 80 or 85/1, didn't put him off. Follow you gut as they say.

I'm either waiting for serious money to come in or word from Bass on the horse. Still a long time till the race so no rush but from the info currently available it looks value but not enough for me to pull trigger yet.

Must say I much prefer heavily weighting Night in Seattle to place rather than betting on Generalissimo at those odds. More profitable and in my opinion a safer but is just a difference in opinion.

Below are some replays that have defined my play today(Click on the horse)
BOYES DRIVE

PRINCE OF EDEN

STAR OF PARIS I think will be hard to beat

JAY JAY`S WILD - I really think this guy will win - He looks a big horse and with experience will be better than his last run(not far off Parachute Man!!!)-Going to love the extra and will enjoy Kenilworth too. Banker

I prefer Grey Light to Jet Set Go, and Cold as Ice.

Go for the Mighty Mac - Cormack !

Yeah I agree which is why weighting to place seems the logical thing. Splitting the bet 25/75 so still make a nice profit if he only places. Still more money weighting Night in seattle to place than generalissimo to win outright.
