R4 Cumbrianna. Forget last run as got upset in the stalls. Previous two runs represent easily the best form on offer here and step back up to six furlongs should suit. No idea why she isn't favourite here - she should be.

R8 (Friday) El Mirage E/W. Has been running really well lately and was a shade unlucky not to score over course and distance in first-time cheekpieces a couple of weeks ago. Is still well handicapped and looks a winner waiting to happen off his current rating. Should be hard to keep out of the first three and 6/1 looks a very generous E/W price.

R4 Friday 21 November Cape Cay. Showed promise in two fair turf maidens in May and June and has been off since. Interesting that her shrewd trainer has decided to bring her back now rather than wait until the 2015 turf season. This is a very weak maiden and, assuming all is well with her after five months off, she should be very hard to beat here. 5/2 is potentially very generous.

An above average looking maiden for the time of year with several potentially useful sorts on show. Rennie Mackintosh has obvious claims on the back of his 2nd here on his 2nd start. He has failed to fire either side but a return to this venue could take the yard of the cold list. Chicago Brere has shaped with promise on all 4 starts and is sure to be in the mix. Cape Cay shaped with promise on both starts earlier in the year on turf and has been given time to grow into herself. The fitness is unlikely to be an issue for one from this yard and she makes plenty of appeal switched to the AW. Oracolo finished last here on debut but took a big step forward next time on turf. Cape Cay for me.
