Couple of tidbits as far as race 8 goes. First runner in SA for ex-UK based trainer Ernst Oertel, and Lastmandstanding is entered for the horses-in-training sale in Jhb on Tuesday. Seems like connections may have had enough of being let down by this one.

Throw anything trained by Pat Lunn and Colin Scott into all bets at present. Both stables are on fire. Good luck trying to find a Pick 6 banker today, the card looks very tough, but I reckon the frontrunner King Of The Tribe can reel off the hat-trick. The horses that finished second behind him in his last two starts have both won since and one of them (London Guest) is even a Vodacom July nomination.

Our horse Island Groove is well and must be included in everything, but she is running in a competitive fillies' handicap and one cannot feel overly confident. I think Lady Supreme may be the one we have to beat, back on her old happy hunting ground at Clairwood.

Cheers for info magic. Another which may be hitting a hot patch is the GORDON stable, they sent out 2 runners for 2 wins at Greyville on Friday, like SWEET LEMON in 3rd race at 8/1, improving sort.

Not to put you off Southpaw but Race 3 is one of the toughest races on the card.

Alot of horses coming back from good wins at Greyville a strong course. Just be wary Southpaw, not saying your fancy cant win but providing some facts.
