R6 Kempton Cadmium. Improving 3yo who got off the mark in style last time. The step back up to a mile will not be a problem, has good course form, an ideal draw and goes well for this apprentice. 7/2 is a very fair price in a weak race full mainly of exposed older horses.

R5 Newmarket Air Pilot. Things didn't really go his way when he was a beaten favourite last time (was just behind Mutakayyef), but he still ran well. The step back up to 10f today will be a big help as will the rain-softened ground. Should be able to reverse the form with Mutakayyef and can win this. 3/1 is too big.

R7 Plumpton Little Roxy - small E/W. A very poor handicap hurdle to conclude the card with major question marks over most of the field. Little Roxy is a course regular who will come on for her seasonal reappearance and is now back down to the sort of handicap mark where she has proved to be competitive in the past. Could easily outrun her odds of around 20/1.
