MY TOTAL outsider for the day comes up in Race 7 - Sea Spray.. This horse will appreciate the 1400m and from a good draw will go close IMO
JM, JM, JM.... please take care, 8s in a 3/1 bar one field is not a total outsider!

I tend to side though with FP in that the value could lie with Study The Stars. She is much better off with DQ on the run behind behind Knysna Lagoon and is now much better drawn and the ground conditions certainly shouldn't inconvenience her. Watch out for the appie leading them a merry dance though!

Chestnut's Girl in the last would be of greater interest to me but for the jockey booking. No disrespect to GS but he is 0/6 in 6 runs for the yard whereas Orffer is on the stablemate and has a much better record for them. Not saying CG won't win, just that I couldn't back her with the jockey bookings.
My glance over semi-idiots e/w patent...
R4 5 Silver Image
R6 9 Society Rock
R7 8 Study The Stars
Be(s)t of luck to all

EW must have the more scope for improvement though especially as her last run, against CC, came off a 13 week break.

Looks quite a nice card today. I am with Bayern's double even though it is quite short now.
The race of the day for me is going to be Zingaro taking on Balance Sheet. Both look like they could end up in the top division and will be interesting to see how they do here. I think with the extra race under the belt Zingaro is the likely winner but wouldn't be surprised if Balance Sheet gets the upper hand in the closing stages. A swinger and exacta race for me.
Agree with a few on here wrt Study The Stars but I see the 14/1 has gone now. Off it's current rating and a top jock aboard could be very competitive today.
I also like Surfer Girl in an open contest in the last, she is consistent and loves the course. If she is allowed to dictate she should be hard to peg back but I am worried that there are a few others in the race that could fight her for the lead and I hope they don't cut each other's throats.
I will be basing my bets around these four runners.
Play well.

The 9/2 available on Blackmore looks very tempting.
