Sky Lantern the lovely grey filly has been way below firm this season , but Hannon says she's a changed horse the last few weeks and suddenly looks like a horse again
8/1 would be massive value if she's back

Be nice to see SKY LANTERN and INTEGRAL fight it out again but with no runner last year and having won the previous 4 the French could come up trumps again. FINTRY looks like fav. but Guyon has opted for his Guineas winner MISS FRANCE which could be the one.
Still on the French theme like the look of VAZIRA in the 1st at Longchamp

R4 Ascot Chil The Kite E/W. Is the class horse of the race, has good course form and won't mind if the forecast rain arrives. Am a bit worried by the draw, though, as most of the speed in the race seems to be on the other side. 12/1 looks a good price with four places being paid.

The draw would seem to be the significant factor with only 2 single figures in last 10 years or so.
I'm leaning towards Fahey"s EASTERN IMPACT ridden by one of my favourite jocks for 100% effort Paul Hanagan.
Fahey won last year with a 3yo and I just think the 7f might suit it (drawn 14)

sod the draw this year. I have gone for Blaine again. Won well at York then just failed in the Ayr gold cup flying to finish 3rd. Extra should suit and a nice 14/1 to boot

Well you"ve got the "redhot" Ben Linfoot (sporting life) on your side with this CNC and as always he puts a strong case forward.
Out of interest he also goes for SKY LANTERN

thanks for passing that on navesmere. I feel more confident now but have been cautious and taken the each way just in case
