Ratings in SA as of 11 April.

Mythical Flight Rated 120 Turf
National Spirit Rated 120 Sand
Pocket Power Rated 118 Turf

Me thinks that all SA sprinters overrated (Ratings only) Myth is a super star.

But currently rated higher than the top International sprinter (Bennie the Bull) come on.

National Spirit on par with top MDK runners in Dubai on sand. ?????

Pocket Power out champ rated lower than the Myth. WHY???

i suppose Myth was rated so high because of that quick time he set- pity Pocket is unsound cause with that rating(if accepted internationally) he could have done us proud internationally - basically i think you are 100 % correct

Thanks for that Jack - is the rating then based on our panel's assesment of the horse and the transposed onto the global rating system or is it an international rating by international handicappers( i would presume the theory is that a horse rated 100 in SA should have similar ablity to one rated 100 in the UK or USA)
